Its quality is only slightly better than a Blu-ray, but within BS8K releases, it ranks just behind series like Corrector Yui and The Three Musketeers which were actually rescanned from film.
By the way, almost all Japanese 4K channels will stop broadcasting by the end of 2026. Granted, the picture quality of most of those channels is garbage. They even complain that producing high-quality programming costs too much money; I really wonder where that funding is actually going.
